​As the founder and owner of TourbillonZ, I'm here to help you with your goals and share a little bit about myself.

 

During my youth I've pursued countless challenges which helped shape up my discipline and perseverance, along with the mental fortitude required to excel at this business, as with anything in life. From playing musical instruments to pursuing combat sports and fitness goals, all of those played a critical role in the process to build the grit which is necessary to take on challenges and stop at nothing until they're achieved. I've won several gold medals competing in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and also participated in MMA championships, as they remain my current hobbies I like to occupy myself with during my free time.

 

I later started trading in the spring of 2015 when I was on my summer break after completing high school; I was starting to get serious about my career around that time, and I always looked ahead as I've done with everything else in life. I knew I had to do something right then, in order to lay the building blocks for what I envisioned in the future. I had been wanting to start a business as a 17 year old but to no avail. I just knew I wasn't content on solely going to university and following 'the script' everyone is told to, despite attending a business program with a Finance & Economics focus at a Top 20 globally ranked university, and having been put in rigorous academic environments my whole life. I knew it wasn't what I wanted, nor what would bring me closer to my goals. That fire and vision kept burning day by day to make me work relentlessly towards what I truly wanted.

Fast forward to almost a decade later, I've went through the test of time and the "10,000 hours" rules to mastery for any complex craft. I've embraced failures until I finally got it all mapped out, and it has just been maintaining that skillset and improving upon it for the past few years. I never believe in being complacent but rather always finding ways to improve even the slightest factors which could make a profound difference in the long run. I like to give the analogy of a Rolls Royce and the average car; not only is it the aesthetic factor of the Rolls Royce that makes it stand out, but the minor little details with the stitching, being able to close the door with a button, etc. that add up to make it a masterpiece as a whole.

I also worked on the corporate side of the industry (sell-side) for a year before I realized it wasn't what I wanted nor what brings much growth. After all, it wasn't related to actually trading but simply operational tasks. I realized the only thing that makes one a better trader is their own self-governed journey, and so I kept at what I had already been doing and what I had always done best.

I document some of my trading and life journey on my YouTube channel as I try to show a fully transparent, unfiltered and unbiased side of it.

The name of the parent company, TourbillonZ, was inspired by my love for horology and watches which started during my first year in university when I met a close friend at the time who was wearing a rare and elegant timepiece, well before the watch market hype, I then fell in love with watches and kept a picture of my favourite one on my vision board to own one as soon as possible. It has been my favourite brand since (2016) and my passion for watches kept growing.

I decided to name the brand TourbillonZ after the "tourbillon" movement which is an addition to the mechanics of a watch escapement which increases accuracy, as that is what I try to emulate in my trading: it's all about the precision, as I showcase in all my videos.
